Taffy Pull, 2026
(Documentation coming soon!)
Renderings for site-specific installation for Heaven Gallery, opening on September 25, 2026 in Chicago, IL.
Inviting conversations about perception and physicality, Taffy Pull is a site-specific installation by Rosalynn Gingerich and part of a two-person exhibition with Vesna Jovanovic at Heaven Gallery. Historically, taffy pulls were social events where paired bodies in motion stretched and folded a treat to share. Though largely lost to time and now replaced by machines, the playful spirit of this collaborative practice is revived here, producing a shared sensory experience.
